Leatheflex Pure Neatsfoot Oil is different to most Neatsfoot Oils in the market place in that the product is 100% pure Neatsfoot. Generally, for cost reasons most other ‘Neatsfoot’ products are actually blended oils using rape seed or similar in in the formulation. The product is tested down to 1 degree centigrade without it turning solid. Refined Neatsfoot Oil is also stable form of fats, designed to top up the stable fats introduced into the leather during the tanning process, when the unstable raw animal fats are removed. Neatsfoot Oil is manufactured from the shin bones and feet of cattle (but not the hooves). The name is derived from an old English name for cattle. 100% pure
